Aphoristic Acronym

I was tasked with making an aphoristic acronym for something that resonated with me. During the pandemic, it was hard for me to see my grandparents because of the risk of getting them sick, which was not only hard on them but on me as well. Growing up, I lived with them for a few years, and I missed them deeply.

Whenever I would call and talk to my grandma on the phone, she would end the call with 'bye for now', implying we would talk again soon, and it has stuck with me since. Even seeing her in person when I leave, she says 'bye for now'. I wanted to capture the feeling it gave me—friendly and warm.

Geographic Wordmark

I was tasked with making a geographical wordmark for a location provided. I was assigned Rib Mountain, located here in Wisconsin. After doing my research on the state park that I haven't been to, I came up with this design.

Rib Mountain has a lookout tower and is less of a mountain than some might think. I wanted to demonstrate both of these things in my wordmark. I also noticed that fall was a common time for visitors because of the autumn colors, so I used those as well.

Symbol Set

Gardening is a passion of mine; it brings me great joy to raise a plant and watch it grow or to grow my food. I was tasked with creating a symbol set that represented a hobby that we liked. These were the three symbols that I came up with to represent my passion for gardening.
